I feel so lethargic, it's 4.30am, I'm at about 1700 words on my lit essay and I haven't slept. Going to school in about 5 hours. This term is so screwed up. I've literally stayed up all night the night before any essay is due trying to complete it. I have no idea what's wrong with me, I hope I don't screw up really badly.

So today was the first day I went to collect donations for the 40 hours of famine thing that my cell is doing. When you are the one that is collecting the donations, it really makes you wonder what is so hard about giving money to the less fortunate. On the other hand, sadly I can imagine myself thinking the total opposite if someone approaches me like that. I have never really felt how it feels when you are collecting donations for a good cause and people make jokes and all (I have probably never taken anything of this sort seriously till now), not that I find it insulting.

I think it has to do with just our culture, we are hardly ever taught to give a thought to people on other continents who are needy (not saying that there are no needy people in our country), we just think that they are too far away and it is none of our business. We are all the same species, we all have the same basic biology, we are all humans. It is really sad to think that there are people in the world who go to bed hungry every night and when it is not their fault that they are in such an unfortunate position. Stories i feel most impacted by are parents who have to choose which of their children would eat today and which ones would eat tomorrow. Imagine your parents telling you that you cannot eat today and that it is your turn tomorrow. That would suck right?

So my cell group will give up furniture this weekend. Unfortunately I can't join them as I would be in Sydney. I would probably do it when I come back next week and when I am totally not sick anymore.

So due to me being sick last week (and I'm still sick now), I've got an extension for my HOI essay till this Thursday. Unfortunately, I just started writing it and haven't really thought much about it. My nose is still killing me, I've used so much tissue, I can't even start to think seriously about doing work. I just feel like sleeping.

Instead of thinking about my essay, I'm thinking about skipping my first class tomorrow as my friend just told me it's a waste of time and it's super boring. Haha I just might skip it if I don't wake up in time.

Really should be working on my essay instead of blogging.

psych made me sick.

Really, I think the lack of sleep from doing my hoi essay totally caused me being sick now. I feel so horrible, physically I mean. I'm coughing like crazy, my nose is all red and my throat hurts like hell. It's so bad I had to get an extension for my hoi essay :) but I still went to school today, can't stand ah, I'm so dedicated haha.

So drama performance is going to be okay I hope... the rehearsals so far went okay in my opinion, don't know about the rest though. Can you believe we are forced to do drama over here in melbourne!

Feel so sick now, I think I'll just go to bed and hopefully forget to wake up for drama practice. If anybody from my drama group sees this, I'm just kidding :)

Next weekend, I'm going to sydney. And hopefully the weekend after next I can go snowboarding if mummy lets me. CAN'T WAIT

It's 9.30pm now. Feels really late already. Still doing my psychology essay. Have 385 words INCLUDING REFERENCES (I have alot of references), so dead. My table is a mess, my bed is also a mess with all my sources on it. Essay is due in less that 24 hours marcus, stop blogging.

Just got back from cell, finally found the time to blog, at last!

I love snowboarding!! Just wish I could go every weekend. Only thing stopping me are essays.... I am so behind my work, marcus, faster start doing work. So last weekend, went to Mt. Hotham which was damn fun!! Snowboarding is just better than skiing, it's such a different feeling. Fell like crazy though, I think my ass had blue blacks. Hopefully going at least one more time this year. I bought all my ski gear! No need to rent anymore :) And I love my outfit, it's so easy to spot me.

So jiejie, kj, shuanne and I went up the mountain, sadly shuhuei couldn't go, as I mentioned previously, she was sick! Thank God she didn't have swine flu. It was super fun, there were alot of other trinity people up there too, counting me, there's like four groups I think. Met tsang, peiwen and peiqi on saturday, then they stayed over cos we had dinner till quite late, we played card games and all. For poker we used monopoly money haha. It's so good to have steamboat up the mountain, we freeze outside and then go inside and it's so warm. Went up for two days, but only snowboarded for one day, it was raining on sunday, so we decided to leave the mountain and go visit a winery. Wasn't such a bad idea I think, the snow would have been really hard that day haha. Now some pictures to liven up my blog:

Going Mt. Hotham tomorrow for snowboarding! Can't wait, I want to go now! Mt. Bulla last Saturday was a good warmup. I'm packing my stuff for the trip now, we are staying on the mountain for two nights! I have all my gear already, I even have a snowboard, so there's no need to rent snowboards anymore haha. My board doesn't match with the rest of my outfit though... my pants is blue while my board and bindings are green, ah well.

Unfortunately, shuhuei has fallen sick and she is suspected of having swine flu. Sucks man, I wish she hadn't fallen sick, now she's going to miss the trip.

And, I'm really falling behind in my work, this puts me in a really bad position as I had really bad results last term. I'm going to work hard! After the snowboarding trip. Haha, I'm such a procrastinator.

I hope I find the time to blog more often =D

How many mehmeh jumped over the wall?

My results for term 2 was released last week. All of my results basically sucked, I de-proved in every single subject. Worst of all was psychology, I think I'm going to drop it. I doubt i would be able to get into biomed if I continue like this... time to start studying now Marcus.

We're probably going skiing the coming Saturday, can't wait.

I've shopped all my life and still have nothing to wear.

Why is the price of designer clothing so high? Have you ever wondered how much something actually costs to make? I'm not saying that everything that has a brand name is overpriced. But for example, apparels which are of good quality would be expected to cost more and it follows that brand names sell good quality merchandise. But really, I think the price really makes a brand a brand. If brands like Salvatore Ferragamo, Marc Jacobs etc were not expensive where would they be? I doubt they would exist. Is it not true that expensive clothing from a well known designer would be viewed as superior to cheaper clothing? Knowing that the item is expensive and above the reach of others just makes the pull to buying such items so much stronger, is it all about exclusivity?

went to crown for dinner!

Ate at "rockpool",

it's this very nice

steak restaurent.

I had a sirloin steak on the bone,

KJ had a rib-eye steak on the bone,

jiejie had duck confit,

and shuanne had a fish.

The food was damn good!

I liked my steak alot,

I want to eat it again now! haha.

Unfortunately,

the place was much too dark...

Today was damn cold!!

and windy.

Good thing about that is

that the mountains

are all covered in snow!!

Ski season is here~

For HOI tutorial (HOI=History of Ideas)

went to the art gallery

at federation square

for a tour of the gallery.

After taking our attendence,

4 of us wanted to walk off

to go and eat breakfast,

but whenever I said,

"Eh, let's go"

We would stop

and then nobody would move...

SUCKS!

Anyway,

the tour was not very intesresting,

didn't really appreciate the art,

it was all australian art.

Something made it

interesting though,

the fire alarm rang halfway,

turns out they were having a fire drill,

so that cut short our tour.

BUT we had left our bags

INSIDE THE BUILDING....

We were pretty late

for our next class.

But that was also

because we went to eat

"lord of the fries".

Ding Zhi ordered the mini-burger,

it was really mini,

1 bite and it was gone haha.

which is in the city.

But the current place I'm living at

to their sunday service.

away from my house.

Today's cell was damn funny,

we drank lemon lime bitters.

It's a drink which little kids drink,

it's comprised of lemonade,

lime juice and bitter.

In case you don't know,

bitter contains like 44% alcohol.

There's only supposed to be

a little bit of bitter in the drink,

but I may have added a teeny bit more....

Everyone was laughing today :)

Now about school.

I have an essay due on

the coming friday

which I want to finish by sunday night,

because I have another essay

to start writing on monday!

I was all ready to start hating and to get my revenge.

It sounds really childish, but I did think like that.
